The long awaited day dawned with the visit of our Superior General Sr. Elizabeth Miranda who was accompanied by Sr. Gracy Sundar, the Asst. General. Sr. Gracy Sundar paid a visit and shared the purpose of their visit and wished them well. It was a happy moment for all of us.
he Tamil Nadu Catechetical Commission TNBCLC, Tindivanam expressed its sincere gratitude to all those who made memorable and notable contribution towards the publishing of the New Catechism text books. Mrs. Lolita Jude is one of those who rendered her whole-hearted contribution towards this cause. Most Rev. Bishop Stephen Anthony - Bishop of Thoothukudi diocese presided over this and felicitated them.
We celebrated our 75th Independence Day celebration by honouring the services of 45 persons (other than doctors and nurses) working in the Thoothukudi Government hospital. We are really indebted to their services rendered to the general public during lockdown, risking their lives in order to save lives. Thiru Stalin Packianathan, the sanitary officer of the Thoothukudi Corporation hoisted the flag and distributed certificates and mementos.
Mother Foundress Day was celebrated with love and fervour. We had an online celebration - a beautiful video presented by our Sisters Helena and Melani. Students of all the classes had the priviledge of viewing it through Google Meet.
With one year of experience of how to move forward with online classes, we re-open school in the early June, to set our children in an environment conducive for learning. Teachers began their duties with a sense of commitment continuing to adapt themselves to the newer generation that is more tech-savvy.
Competitions were held.
Literary Association has fostered love for arts, culture, inter-religious harmony and love for the society. President Mrs. Sudha wished all the club members to use this platform to exhibit their talents and skills.
International Day of Yoga was celebrated with immense enthusiasm by our young yoga enthusiasts from St. Mary's College, A.P.C.College, St. Aloysius Girls.Hr.Sec.School and our students.
